One supplier instead of three pointing at each other
The familiar version goes like this: the site was built by an agency that has since moved on, hosting is with whoever was cheapest, the domain is registered to a former employee's personal account, and email runs somewhere else entirely. Then the site goes down, or email stops arriving, and nobody will own the problem.
Because we already manage your IT, we manage all of it together. The domain, DNS records, SSL certificates, hosting and mailboxes are one system with one point of contact. When email deliverability breaks because an SPF record was changed, we can see why.
What's included
- Design and build: clear, fast, mobile-first sites, not a stretched template
- UK hosting: with SSL certificates issued and renewed automatically
- DNS and email routing: including SPF, DKIM and DMARC so your mail lands in inboxes rather than spam folders
- Uptime monitoring: we find out the site is down before your customers tell you
- Backups: of the site as well as your systems, with the same restore testing
- Updates and patching: because an unmaintained site is an open door into your hosting
- Basic SEO groundwork: structured data, page titles, sitemap and Search Console setup
Fast sites, sensibly built
Site speed affects both what visitors do and how Google ranks you. Most slow business sites are slow for avoidable reasons: enormous unoptimised images, a dozen plugins doing very little, and tracking scripts nobody reviews. We build lean by default and keep it that way.
Own your own domain. If your domain is registered under a former supplier's account, you're one disagreement away from a serious problem. We'll transfer it into your name, at your business, whether or not you host with us. That's basic hygiene rather than an upsell.
Email deliverability
Websites and email share DNS, which is why they break together. If your invoices are landing in customers' spam folders, the cause is almost always missing or misconfigured SPF, DKIM and DMARC records. We set these up properly and monitor them, which matters more every year as providers tighten their rules on unauthenticated mail.
Common questions
Do we have to host with you to have a site built?
No, though it's usually simpler. If you host elsewhere we'll build to that environment; we'll just be honest about what we can and can't fix when something goes wrong on infrastructure we don't control.
Can you take over an existing website?
Usually yes. We audit what's there first, covering how it's built, what's out of date and what's exposed, then give you a straight recommendation on whether to maintain it or rebuild.
Will we be able to update the site ourselves?
Yes, where you want to. We can build with a content editor for pages you'll change often, and handle the technical parts you'd rather not touch.
Why does our email keep going to spam?
Nearly always DNS authentication. Without correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, receiving mail servers can't verify your mail is yours, and increasingly they reject it.
